Privacy Policy
This policy explains what paga-calc collects, why, where it lives, and how to reach us if you want your data corrected or deleted. paga-calc is research material for California PAGA tier classification — not legal advice.
Overview
paga-calc is a California PAGA tier classifier operated by magpiexyz-lab, contact radlin@magpiexyz.io. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights to access, correct, or delete your data.
What we collect
- Email address — when you submit the email gate to view your tier result.
- Calculator inputs — headcount, hours per week, hourly rate, months operating, timekeeping method, last review date.
- Browser-level data — IP address (briefly, for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser/OS, referrer, UTM tags, gclid (Google Ads click ID), and page interactions via PostHog autocapture.
Third parties
We use the following vendors. Each operates under its own privacy policy; we link them so you can review the chain.
- PostHog — product analytics and funnel measurement (US-East). PostHog privacy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for your tier-classification report. Resend privacy.
- Supabase — database and auth (US-East region). Supabase privacy.
- Vercel — hosting and edge network. Vercel privacy.
- Stripe (currently paused) — payment processing for the $49 audit. Not active during the current MVP test. Stripe privacy.
Data residency
US-East. Specifically: Supabase US-East-1 region and PostHog US cloud. We do not replicate data outside the United States.
Your rights
To access, correct, or delete your data, email radlin@magpiexyz.io with the subject line “Data request — paga-calc”. CCPA and GDPR opt-out requests use the same address. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies and local storage
We do not use cross-site tracking cookies. We use localStorage for:
- PostHog distinct_id (analytics session continuity)
- waitlist-popup-shown flag (one popup per session)
- feedback-widget-shown flag (one widget per user)
Children
paga-calc is intended for California cleaning contractor owner-operators. It is not intended for users under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

paga-calc is research material, not legal advice. The same disclaimer that runs on the calculator page applies here: consult a California-licensed employment attorney before acting on any output. paga-calc does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how paga-calc handles data, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. The current effective date is 2026-05-17.
